CODE BLUE... WHERE????

Code Blue. Not fun words to hear. It usually means someone is in critical condition/danger. Usually you hear a CODE BLUE and a location over the loudpeakers.

Yesterday however....
"ATTENTION PLEASE, CODE BLUE.....pause...... pause..... pause.... I don't know where!"

We're all waiting expectantly, and then we hear that.... it wasn't really funny, dangerous actually. But at the time, the way the woman said "I don't know where...." after the fact , it was highly amusing...

One of the doctors came bounding out of a patients room, looking worried and confused, looking up and down the hall, "Where do I go??"

Later he told us the patient he was with asked what a code blue was. He said "Well, I've got to go, that means someone's dying!" And as he was leaving the patient said, "GOOD LUCK!"

Luckily we found out where and then the patient wasn't in such mortal danger and the code was cancelled. But it was perty funny at the time. I guess you had to be there.
