Joke I Read in the Bathroom at the Hospital

A Rabbi and a Priest were sitting next to each other on an airplane. After awhile, the Priest turns to the Rabbi and asks, "Rabbi, is it still a requirement of your faith that you not eat pork?"

The Rabbi responds, "Yes Father, it is still one of our beliefs." The Priest then asks, "Rabbi, have you ever eaten pork?"

To which the Rabbi replies, "Yes Father, on one occasion I did succumb to temptation and I tasted a ham sandwich." The Priest nodded in understanding and went back to his reading.

Awhile later, the Rabbi spoke up and asked the Priest, "Father, is it still a requirement of you church that you remain celibate?"

The Priest says to the Rabbi, "yes Rabbi, that is still very much a part of our faith." The Rabbi then asks him, "Father, have you ever fallen to the temptations of the flesh?"

The priest looks at the Rabbi and responds, "Yes Rabbi, once I was weak and I broke my faith."

The rabbi noddded understandingly. He was silent for about 5 minutes and then said, "Beats the hell out of a ham sandwich, doesn't it?"

Hey, it's just bathroom humor. Meant to make fun of Catholics; others should not be offended!

I didn't mean to offend anyone, Jews, Catholics, or anyone else. Just thought it was cute. Rabbi tries pork, Priest tries sex. Sex is better than a Ham Sandwich. It made me laugh, I thought others would enjoy.
