ARGH! Still need help! Wedding in less than a week, and still no gift! I may just end up with a Challah board...

MONEY! Way more useful than a bread board. Really. I still remember the people who gave me money. I still have some nice and totally unused things. OTOH, the gift we've actually used the most (in 15 years and it is still going strong) was a waffle iron. Had to take back 3 (or was it 5) crock pots though. luv, ~W
What the world needs is more useless Challah boards.
But then, I still have money that I have never used, either.
Most couples "register" at some store these days, but sometimes they choose some pretty wierd stores. At least get them something small so that it won't take up much room while they store it, before finally throwing it out.
Luv the waffle iron idea, not so common and something people would like. btw, if the couple is an Observant orthodox Jewish couple, which they are, a challah tray/cutting board for Shabbat would be useful, they just may have 50 of them...
Well, they could use 49 of them for firewood - hopefully yours will be the one that they keep.

The re-count of Ohio votes will not be complete before the Electoral College meets. There is a movement under way to convince Kerry to rescind his concession of the election, in order to throw the E-C meeting into turmoil and contest the election. We'll see if Kerry has the balls to do that!
